Although I have not known Julie as long as most of her friends, I count the time I spent with her a blessing. She always had a smile and an upbeat attitude to go with it. Her passion for life was evident and the love for those she called family and friends was genuine. Julie demonstrated a bravery I will forever envy. I am so thankful for the opportunity to get to know her and regret we didn’t get the chance to do the things we had planned. Julie taught me many things but what I remember most is what she said the last time she was in the office, and that is to “enjoy the little things.” To Rick and the rest of Julie’s family: I am truly sorry for your loss and am praying for you all. To Julie: I always enjoyed our chats, thanks for your contagious smile and friendship. You already are greatly missed.

Julie has been and always will be a very dear friend. I will miss her greatly but I am assured to see her again one day and take great comfort in that.
